Privacy Policy

Overview

Matrix Reasoning Test ("we," "our," or "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Test Data

All test processing — including your answers, scores, and timing data — occurs entirely within your browser. We do not transmit, collect, or store your test responses or results on our servers.

Payment Information

No paid features are currently available. When paid features are introduced, payments will be processed securely by Stripe. We will not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details.

Analytics

We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as page views and button clicks) to improve the Service. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Local Storage

We use your browser's session storage to maintain your test progress during a session. This data stays on your device and is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking technologies.

Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare — for hosting and content delivery
  • Plausible Analytics — for privacy-friendly, cookie-free usage analytics (no personal data collected)
  • Stripe — for payment processing (when paid features become available)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Data Retention

Since test data is processed locally in your browser, we have no test data to retain. If paid features are introduced in the future, payment records will be retained as required by applicable law and the payment processor's policies.

Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to request information about what data we hold about you, or to request its deletion. Since we do not collect personal test data, most requests will relate to payment records only.

Children's Privacy

This Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
